Ingredients

  • 40g coconut oil
  • 250g spelt flour
  • 50g oat bran
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 120g applesauce
  • 1 banana
  • 400g milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  1. First, melt the oil in a pot.
  2. Meanwhile, combine the dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Then add the applesauce, banana, and milk.
  4. Add oil and stir: Now add the oil and stir very well until all lumps are gone.
  5. Stir in baking powder: At the end, add the baking powder, but only gently stir it in.
  6. Bake waffles: Now bake the waffle in a waffle iron, preferably square, for 2 minutes.
  7. Finally, decorate as desired, e.g. with fruit.
